Just a short drive from New Orleans, Louisiana, along the Cajun Coast, is our quaint, small town of New Iberia, Louisiana. This charming, historic town is filled with amazing waterways, history, architecture, food, some pretty awesome people and some super comfortable kayaks!.
Paddle the beautiful Bayou Teche with the comfort of our local Guide.
Join us as we embark on a voyage of history and architecture through New Iberia’s most famous waterway. Your experience begins with life vest and paddle distribution, a lesson in paddle strokes, safety, and rules of the water. Once you’re trained and ready to paddle, we’ll launch our boats into the bayou and put our new found skills into action as we become one with nature.
As we paddle down the Bayou Teche, your guide will transform the landscape with stories of New Iberia’s past, present, and future. The majority of this experience is padding. Our stops will be short and sweet so that you can experience as much time on the water paddling as possible.
Our outdoor journey takes us up and down the Bayou Teche as we see amazing Bayou views of several Antebellum homes, and talk about the cities rich history and culture, all while enjoying a nature bath, and burning off some of those Southern food calories.
