I contacted Tours by Steven and spoke with him. I liked him instantly. He was perfectly accommodating of our specific needs. He sent me additional recommendations for local spots we might like while in NOLA and I was able to incorporate some into our plans. Steven himself led our tour. He called ahead to confirm and make sure I had no questions. He was energetic, witty, engaging, and clearly loved his city. His knowledge of the history and paranormal activity was top notch. I highly recommend Tours by Steven.

So I will admit, I was the one in our group that wasn’t really excited for our tour. However, I was ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY by Steven and the tour! I would highly recommend this to anyone even considering doing a tour! It was very enlightening on the history of New Orleans and also very educational on the current city. Highly, Highly recommend!!

We started our stay with the walking tour to St. Louis Cemetery #1. Our guide, Karen was very knowledgeable of the cemetery and the area. It was a very warm, sunny humid day. She made sure we stood in the shade whenever possible. There was not much shade. Ask for Karen if possible.

My wife and I took an early morning tour of St. Louis Cemetery #1 with Diana and were fascinated by the stories this place had to tell. Diana was a great guide and gave us the real history behind many of the things we had heard and seen on our trip to New Orleans. Definitely worth the time to check out if you have the time and want to learn more about the city. We would recommend going in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat.

Brian provided a great tour that engaged teens and adults in the history, architecture and overall city environment of NOLA. He explained things very well and took lots of questions. He provided some great tips on other things to do and see in the city. We took his advice on a restaurant/music venue and on bike tours. He was spot on!! He checked in on us a few times during the two hours to make sure everyone was OK with the heat; bathroom breaks, water, etc. We did cover a lot of ground but everyone in the group was agreeable to it. Highly recommend this as a great way to start a NOLA visit!

My husband and I enjoyed the French Quarter Tour with Chad and a Garden District Tour with Sarah. Both Sarah and Chad provided great history and local insights. The tour was entertaining and informative. I was especially grateful for the customer service given the terrible weather on the date our first tour was originally planned and took advantage of a discount offer that allowed us to book a second trip while we were in town. I would highly recommend tours by Steven.

We had John as our tour guide a couple days ago for the St Louis Cemetery #1 tour and we loved it! We knew it would be interesting and fun, but didn’t expect it to end up being a highlight of our trip! He had so much knowledge about the history, burial process (one of the most interesting things we learned about), and the city in general and had a great sense of humor. This is definitely something you need to add to your list!

We just got home from a weekend trip to NOLA. We did the cemetery tour Saturday morning. We had the sweetest tour guide named Ginger. She was so knowledgeable and kind. Despite the heat, she moved the tour right along and made sure we stopped in shaded areas. I just loved her! Thank you for making our tour so great!!
