Never been on a Kayak? No Problem!
Not far from New Orleans, along the Cajun Coast, is our quaint, small town of Franklin, Louisiana. Our “Hallmark” city is filled with amazing history, architecture, food, and some pretty awesome people.
Our “Kayaking 101” Experience, is a perfect introduction to the basics of Kayaking. This activity is designed for beginner paddlers who are interested in learning the basics of kayaking, overcoming any possible fears, and the opportunity to become comfortable enough on the water to want to explore more of our beautiful waterways.
For your safety and comfort, we use hybrid kayaks, which is a boat constructed using both kayak, and canoe features
THIS IS NOT A TOUR, but an introduction to paddling done in the Bayou Teche. We don’t go far from shore.
We provide the Kayak, paddle, life vest, instruction, and the FUN!
